Can I make a reservation?
Because of our small size, we can only accept reservations for parties of six or more, but please just walk on in and join us. The busiest days, naturally, are friday and saturday, and the busiest times are from 7 to 9 pm. At times other than those, it is unlikely you will have to wait. We have a small number of seats at the bar, a few of which are almost always available and which many regulars claim are the best dinner seats in the house, as they have a view of the open kitchen. Our reading room is also a full service, comfortable alternative to the dining room.
Ok, I have a party of 7 and need a reservation for tonight?
That can be tricky, most of the time we are unable to accomodate same day reservations but sometimes there are exceptions. Best bet is to call with as much advance notice as possible and we will try to work it out. No promises though.
We are coming in later tonight! Will you be on a wait in about an hour?
Impossible to answer that one. If we could predict the future...well, you know where I am going with that one. Vegas, Lotto numbers, Farmers Almanac, etc.
Who is your "Chef"?
We don't have one on a day to day basis. Our dishes are deftly executed by a superbly talented kitchen staff. Most of the menu items are arrived at through a collaboration with Chef Mitch Hoverman. He was classically trained in French technique by way of the French Culinary Institute in NYC. With over 15 years of professional cooking and service experience working in all aspects of 4-star dining in NYC, Chicago, and Phoenix.
Do you sell liquor?
We have a license to serve wine, beer and spiritous liquor. Our goal was to find an interesting selection of value driven options by off the beaten path producers. The majority of which have a nice story behind their product and pair exceptionally with our food.
Do you have a dress code?
Nah, not really. Whatever makes you feel comfortable and hungry.
Do you offer take-out?
Yes! Call ahead or come in person for our to-go options.
Will you host my private party, cater my event, or plan a special event?
